Message From the President Peter Yaskin"This upcoming semester is going to be filled with awesome tailgates, socials, sports, and more. We constantly strive for excellence and will continue to do so. For those picking out a fraternity, think about the future of your college experience and see if ZBT is the right fit for you." You will meet a diverse group of gentlemen that will be your friends and brothers for life. Self Improvement - A ZBT and a gentleman are synonymous. We constantly strive to to lift one another up. It is our motto that we are a Powerhouse of Excellence and we live by that motto. Involvement - We pride ourselves on the involvement we have in campus organizations. Whether it is Student Government or UNLV athletics, it is difficult to find an organization on the UNLV campus without also finding the letters ZBT. Networking - We take pride in ourselves and who we are. Every brother will help you become more involved in the university community and Alumni will seek to help you to succeed Some FYI's A future ZBT must have a cumulative gpa of 2.5 or an incoming high school gpa of 2.5 or higher. You must be enrolled in 9 credits or more and be in good standing with your college. Non-hazing - Zeta Beta Tau does not believe in harming any human being or living thing and therefore will not participate or encourage the practice of any act that can be considered "hazing." Non-pledging - Zeta Beta Tau abolished the pledging program in the 1980's when the brothers realized it had failed and did not serve a purpose.
